JT Rogan Named to Silver Waves Media’s 2025 List of the 80 Most Influential People in the NIL Space
- August 28, 2025
SAN DIEGO – Silver Waves Media has announced its highly anticipated list of the 2025 80 Most Influential People in the NIL Space, recognizing leaders who have redefined the landscape of collegiate athletics through innovation, advocacy, and impact. Among this year’s honorees is J.T. Rogan, Executive Director of Olé Foundation, the University of San Diego’s official Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) partner.
The Silver Waves Media committee spent months researching and vetting candidates across the country. This annual list highlights executives, athletes, innovators, and thought leaders who not only understand the evolving NIL ecosystem but also actively shape it. Rogan’s inclusion on the list reflects his sustained influence at the intersection of sports, business, and athlete advancement.
“Being named among such an accomplished and forward-thinking group of leaders in NIL is an honor,” said Rogan. “The growth of NIL has opened doors for student-athletes in ways that were unimaginable just a few years ago, and I’m grateful to play a role in helping them to maximize their opportunities.”
Rogan’s credentials in collegiate athletics are rooted in his record-breaking career as a standout running back at the University of San Diego, where he was part of Coach Jim Harbaugh’s first recruiting class. Over six seasons with the Toreros, Rogan earned All-American honors and set school records in rushing yards and scoring. His passion for sports extended far beyond the football field–he was a die-hard supporter of USD athletics, traveling across the country to cheer for his fellow student-athletes, including witnessing the men’s basketball team’s historic 2007 NCAA Tournament upset over UConn in Tampa, FL.
Following his collegiate career, Rogan transitioned seamlessly into leadership roles across multiple levels of sports and media. He coached football at Stanford, tried out for the San Francisco 49ers, and later entered broadcasting with the PAC-12 Network and Fox Sports San Diego. He also served as Director of Operations and Communications for Jim Harbaugh at the University of Michigan.
In recent years, Rogan has turned his attention to advancing opportunities for athletes off the field. As senior manager for sales enablement in fundraising at Snap! Raise, he contributed to one of the largest platforms supporting youth athletics nationwide. Additionally, he co-founded AllAthlete, a sports technology company that now supports over 100,000 users. Presently, Rogan works as the Director of Revenue at College.town, the parent company of the industry-leading college sports “D1.ticker” publication.
This entrepreneurial work, combined with his deep knowledge of collegiate athletics, has made Rogan a sought-after voice in the NIL space. His efforts to empower athletes and coaches alike reflect the spirit of innovation that Silver Waves Media aims to celebrate with this award.
